Native but Foreign now available!

At long last, my book Native but Foreign: Indigenous Immigrants and Refugees in the North American Borderlands was published over the summer. This book has been about 10 years in the making and I am so excited to finally put it out there. It really is remarkable to finally hold it in your hands. Of course, I’m too terrified to actually open it because I know I’ll notice an error on whatever page I glance at.

You can direct questions to the book’s companion website www.nativebutforeign.com where I have also posted a large amount of supplementary sources and discussion that had to be chopped from the manuscript.

If you plan to assign the book in a course, I am happy to try and schedule a way for a Skype discussion with the class.

And, of course, I am always open to making campus visits to give public lectures on the research.

For regular updates, follow the book’s Facebook page. I also tweet about it sometimes, search #NativeButForeign.

You can the book now on Amazon or from Texas A&M University Press.
