Brenden W. Rensink

Historian of the North American West, Borderlands, Indigenous Peoples, and Environment

Dr. Rensink is a historian of the North American West, Borderlands, Indigenous peoples, and genocide studies.  He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in history from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.  Previously a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Dr. Rensink now works as an Historian and Documentary Editor for the Joseph Smith Papers at the LDS Church History Department.
